Default Glitching range check/metallic covering????

This is a confusing issue. With the antenna wire inside or next to my Hobbico Extra ARF fuslage, a 60 to 75' range check shows servo gitching, but yet rudder control visble at 100'.

Is this glitching a problem. It did not appear to be on the maiden flight and was only noticed while picking the plane up on the runway afterwards.

I changed the receiver and transmitter and found the same results. I also changed servo's, one at a time to see if one may be faulty. All to no avail.

Customer Service had not heard of the metallic covering/interference issue but did offer new Monokote covering material.

Any similar experiences out there with successful remedies???
