Default RD6000 throttle question

I have a near new RD6000 that the throttle servo buzzes. I have been in contact with Airtronics and sent the servo in for repair.

Thanks
Fred

Default RD6000 throttle question

I could see it happening if the throttle and the ailerons were on the same stick, but they're not...very weird! I've got the same radio and can't say I've noticed any connection between the two... there are however some programmable mixes...any chance one of them is responsible... does the throttle go back when you move the ailerons the other way? I'm not a heli type so I haven't played with the heli programming and don't know if that would have anything to do with it, but are you in airplane mode? I don't think it would cause that response, just tossing ideas out!

You could try emailing Airtronics Cust Service...

Let us know what you find out.

Default answer

thanks for the ideas. I normally try to start with the simplest things first then go from there but now I need some more ideas on where to look to correct this. It is not bad enough to warrant me sending it in , but just a little annoying at times.

Both models are on aero. If engine is idling and I move the ailerons in either direction the engine will slow down. When I move the ail stick back to neutral the engine will go back up to previous rpm.
I am not using any mixes, none.

You can set the throttle to ali mix under the C-mix program. The C-mix settings are under the ETC menu. In the mixing set up you can mix alomost anything with anything. I have the ali/throttle and rudder/throttle mix set up for my heli so you can do it under the aero settings too.

You can turn the C-mix on and off by the switch on the Tx.
