Default Transmitter antenna impedance

Does anybody know the impedance of transmitter antennas; specifically Futaba T6XAS transmitters?

thanks

Default RE: Transmitter antenna impedance

The impedance is very high and very reactive. It is a quarter-wave monopole and would be around 35 ohms resistive if worked against a ground plane. Unfortunately it is worked against the circuit board and wiring within the transmitter, and whatever capacitive coupling exisits to the pilots hands. This amounts to a very small 'ground plane'.

The same is true (minus the hands) regarding the receive antenna wire.
