The 9X should be avaiable next year but according to the Australian JR importer no date is set and if it was dont believe it. JR are apparently as bad as Microsoft as far as deadlines go.
Apparently looks just like the 10X, but cut down in functionality. I dont know exactly how, except for maybe 9 channels not 10.
