Default Where can I buy servo wire and connectors

I want to start making my own servo wire extensions instead of buying premade extensions. However, I have been looking around trying to find wire and connectors at a reasonalbe price. Servo City has a good price on 20 and 22 guage wire but they are not clear on the connectors.

Thanks,
Ernie Hughes

Default Servo wire and ends

Here is the best place I have found. Dave sells wire, ends and a very nice crimp tool. With this set-up you can make any length lead you need.

Default Where can I buy servo wire and connectors

I have tried various sources for connectors and wire. I prefer the connectors I get from Radical R/C because they are identical to Futaba and the pins have a larger crimp area where it grabs the insulation.

The heavy duty switch that Dave carries is the best one on the market IMO.

I am not however not pleased with Dave's service. I have ordered three times to date and have had problems all three times. Dave has made good on the screwed up orders, but it's still a hassle.

The aggravation is not enough to keep me from ordering from him in the future.

My second source, and one that I have never had a problem with is Maxx Products.

You could also try Cermark . I think they're in the middle of moving right now but I believe you can still order off the web site.

Servo wire & contactors

Try the electrical stores. They have them here in Hong Kong, & for cheap.

Default Wires, plugs etc

Custom Electronics (in Florida if I recall) used to sell gold plated pins, plug housings, wire on 5' or 50' rolls crimp tools etc.

They may still do - it's been some years since I bought any plugs etc. They used to advertise a bit in RCM.
