Over on the Hitec support side they say the EVO9 synth has been discontinued.
The Expo issue was a reason I stayed away as I really dont see how they think you can have expo the same thru various flight modes.

RE: 9CAPS vs EVO-9 vs MC-22
I have a 9C and a 9ZWc2, I also like the 9303. I havent found a thing you cannot program with the 9Z and the 9C is simple to use (dont need a manual like the Z)
I played with the 9303 and found it pretty easy to use also. I would probably switch to one if I didnt think Futaba will come out with something around the 9Z and I have a lot of Futaba recievers.
I really wanted a EVO but the way they were introduced in the US left something to be desired and they seem to be in stock momentarily then gone and I dont believe its selling out, its that the supply chain just isnt that good. I think it took more than a year to get available then you couldnt get a reciever etc.
I seem to remember there is a way to do differential ailerons and flaps on the 9C but I cant remember offhand how I did it.
We dont fly with trays here much so that may be a factor for some. I did think that the 9303 was quite a good feel in your hands.
You may have better luck in Europe with Evo/parts availability.
