JR Radio Repair
Hi Guys,
Who do you recommend to repair my JR 347. I have broken off the landing gear switch. I would also like to have it checked over/tune up.

Repair Shops
Pete Waters at KMI up in Michigan did a great job with my JR system. I toasted one of the receivers with a 5 cell battery pack and he had to replace the rf section. PCM 9 single stick with 2 receivers and two modules. Tune both sets and repair as well as shipping was $99 and less than two weeks. I know he had to order a new rf deck too.
Radio South has a very good rep however I haven't had any personal experience with them.
Regards,
Tony

Why not the service center?
Hawg,
I once got switches from Radio South and replaced them myself.
If you want to get it tuned up then I would go with Horizon. I just sent in two Rx's and a Tx for a tune and minor repair and had them back in under a week. The bill was about $70 with shipping.
I have had all my JR stuff done by them and have nothing but good things to say about them. I have even gotten some free work when I admitted I had broken new equipment.
