RE: li to know if the 3010 servo is good for
For a sub-$30 servo they're not bad on paper but I was disappointed with the amount of slop in the gears and output shaft bearings.
I bought four of them for my Mojo 60 3D profile but I won't be buying any more. The slop/wobble was so bad I only used two of them (ailerons) and stuck some Hitec HS5925s on the tail.
It seems that quite a few of Futaba's cheaper "ball bearing" servos are sloppy like this -- in fact I've got some real "budget" ($9/each) no-name chinese servos without BBs that are tighter and have less wobble than the 3010s.

I have to agree with crownvic. I have five 3010 servos in an Aeroworks 1/4 scale Edge 540. I have found them to be very satisfactory. I would not hesitate to buy more.

I'm glad you guys find the 3010 suitable for your purposes and I have to admit that I've had no problems with the ones I'm using -- but the control surfaces they're attached to are really a lot sloppier (due to the gearslop and output shaft wobble) than those on any of my other planes.
