Spektrum reciever antenna failure
Hi all.
Yesterday the antenna fell out of my DX3 reciever. Bummer, since I only have one and really need the car this weekend...
I don´t know why it came loose, since it is enclosed in the car and not subject to any blows or pulls.
Anyway...
This is what the reciever looks like on the inside, I opened it up to check if there was any damage inside. Spekrum tells people to open up their modules on the website so I figured it was OK.
So, to my question. Where does the antenna connect to the cuircuit board? My guess is that it is the location I have marked in red, correct?
Stefan

RE: Spektrum reciever antenna failure
I´ve fixed it.
I resoldered the antenna to the circuitboard, and now it works perfect. I tested it up to 500 feet no probs.
I know I voided the warranty by soldering it but I don´t feel like being without a reciever for a month or whatever it takes to resolve a warranty issue.
be careful with your antennae!
This is what it looks like now...
