Default Hitec Eclipse 7 Tx

Hitec Eclipse 7 Tx. Anyone knows how to change fromMOde 2 to Mode 1.- I have changed the jhoysticks set up, but I am unable to reset the electronics. In my Futaba 6 I can select the Mode.[size=6]

The Eclipse 7 mode cannot be user changed and if you look at page 6 under under 'transmitter mode' it suggests the Tx be returned for mode changes.

Curious the older Prism 7 as well as the newer Optic 6 are user changable in programing.

Just plug your servos into different ports. Wouldn't that accomplish the same thing?

Yes it would However will now have crossed trims. While some may prefer this Most today would not as it requires an additional learning curve.

No question that it would be better if you could change mode at the radio.

However I don't understand you cross trims comment. The trim left of the right hand stick will trim whatever is plugged into channel 2, whether that is elevator or ailerons or throttle.

However I guess you would run into probles with things like elevon and Vtail. Yes, I can see that this is not practical.

Oh well, trying to help.

The Eclispe can do certain things the Optic can't, but, for control assignment flexability, the point has to go to the Optic.

Eclispe can can do 4 servo wings, which the Optic can't, for example. And of course there is that 7th channel.

All you need is here, but consider about warranty and if it is worth (the cost):
