Default *RF Interferance*

I have a Brillelli 26cc gas engine on the business end of a GSP Giles 202. I have the battery pack and receiver seperated from the EI and battery pack and I'm using a Nirod on the throttle. I'm pretty sure it has a resister plug and I'm getting little glitches everytime I fly. Is there something else I can do to prevent this. I know I need a PCM radio but what can I do with my FM radio?

Well you best bet is to start looking for metal on metal vibrating. It can be anywhere on your plane.

Do you have a manual choke level banging metal on metal? Control linkages anywhere?

You should be able to reproduce the problem on the ground and narrow it down by process of elimination.

Personally I wouldnt flying this plane at all till I got the bugs out.. just asking for a crash. Maybe your receiver just has issues... try tapping it or your switches or anything like that. Its a hard problem to track down.. but one that you really need to find before you do anymore flying.

my 2 cents.

Can you determine which control is glitching?

While it might not cure the problem I believe the first and maybe simplest thing you might try is rerouting the antenna.
