Hitec RECEIVER crystal question

Hi

I have a couple of Hitec receivers that have just been checked out and retuned by customer service. They are on channel 16. I need to convert them to channel 42. Can I just replace the crystals or do I have to have them retuned? I know that with Futaba receivers you can do this within a hi and low range of frequencies.

Hitec does not have high/low. You can change them with no issues.

As mentioned above, Hitec RX's do not need to retuned to change out crystals. Simply ensure you perform a rigorous range check and utilize Hitec crystals of the appropriate single and or dual conversion persuasion.
