Default jr radio charge conversion?

can you charge a jr radio with a futaba charger if you reverse the polarity of the charge plug.

Yes, However it very important to mark the reversed wall charger prominently. Its easy to accidently plug the wrong charger into the wrong Tx and then your day is over.

Also keep in mind that there are small differances in the plugs of various brand wall chargers so confirm by the light that you do have contact and it is not intermittant.

JR tx's charge jacks are centerpin negative - Hitec, Airtronics and Futaba tx charge jacks are centerpin positve.

I don't know what the dimensions are on the JR but Hitec is 5mmOD, 2.1mmID while Futaba is 5.5mmOD, 2.5mm ID. You can get either at Radio Shack, Part No. RS#274-1567 for Hitec, Part No. RS#274-1573 for Futaba. I would suspect they have one that will fit the JR as well if it is different from one of the above. Just measure it and have a look.
