Default Futaba 3305's and Nickle Metal Batteries

Did I read correctly that Futaba's 3305 metal gear/hi torque servos are "NiCad Only" servos?
This is what's printed on the back of the servo case when you buy it new.

I can't use a nickle metal battery pack on them?

That warning came from the old NiMH batteries that couldn't deliver the current needed by todays digitals. My 9252's for my helis say the same thing, they run fine on the newer cells with lower internal resistence or the larger sub c packs.
