Default Futaba 9z saving freq and ppm-pcm settings

I have a 9zapwc2. I have 7 planes in memory. When I select a new plane that is on different channel, or pcm-ppm setting, I have to manually change both settings. Am I doing something wrong? You would think that each models saved memory settings would include the channel it is on, and the correct ppm-pcm settings.

I have this posted in the Futaba direct forum, and no one has answered.

If it's not saving the pcm/ppm setting, you are definitely doing something wrong, as mine does save that setting. Remember: you have to cycle the power if you are going from one modulation to another, perhaps that's where the problem is coming in.

The frequency is a different matter. That is NOT saved, for various reasons that I won't go into here, but you have to set it if you want a different frequency.

My 9ZAP WC2 is just like Icebird noted; It stores the PPM/PCM setting but must be power cycled to change between them (as does my 9C) and it requires that you change the frequency manually each time if needed. I had to go check again on that since I use the same frequency on all my stuff right now...

Yes, mine works the same as both of you described. It does save the ppm/pcm settings, you just have to cycle the power. Thanks for the replys.
