Default antenna for my futaba

I have a Futaba T6XAs and the antenna tip was bent. When I tried to pull it out, the last section came completely out. There was a plastic piece on the end and it came off. Now the tip is very loose and will fall out if I'm not careful. Tower lists alot of antennas but I don't have a clue as to which my radio needs. Where can I get a part #? Thanks.

Thanks alot, I just ordered one from Tower. Now, do I have to take the radio apart to replace it? The description at Tower says the end is threaded. How do I replace it without breaking something else?

just unscrew the lowest, largest section from the radio.... it should just unscrew and the new one just screws right back in in its place

I know you already ordered it, but for things like these, don't forget the local hobby shop (if you have one)
any good shop should carry things like these and you save on shipping......

I actually live about an hour and a half drive from the nearest hobby shop. At todays gas prices it's cheaper for me to order online. I do shop LHSs when possible. Thanks for the information. It should arrive today. BTW, I live so far in the country I don't even get the Grand Ole Opry till Sunday night.

I had the same thing happen, When I opened transmitter case the plastic piece that had the
threaded end on it was broke. Along with wire connecting antenna to circuit board. I glued
plastic piece back in and had my buddy re-solder wire back to circuit board and it works
fine after a year of using it.
