Default Futaba 7CAP TX RX compatility

Hello,
I am considering upgrading to a Futaba 7CAP radio. I have two Cirrus RC-7P PCM (EXCELL-7)systems made for Hobby Shack by Futaba in the early ninties. I don't know if the recievers are 512 or 1024. Will these recievers work with my new 7Cap on PCM ,using the correct crystals of course?

Thanks, Dave

Default RE: Futaba 7CAP TX RX compatility

Hello,
Well, I opened up one of the recievers and found a Futaba FP-6302B decoder IC on the pcb. It is the newer Futaba 1024 pcm decoder chip. So the above RX are 1024 after all.
