Default Tower Hobbies 6XM

Hi,

I was thinking about getting a Tower 6XM radio because the price is attractive. Does anyone have one? Namely plane fliers? If so, do you like it? Dislike it? Like it O.K?

Thanks

Price is certainly a consideration, but if you can throw in another $60 dlls. you can get a Hitec optic 6 with spectra module (no need for tx crystals) and for $80 dlls. more you get the same Hitec with a receiver.
In my opinion the optic (I have one ) is much better than the Tower/futaba six channel. In this times of miniature receivers off brand the Hitec gives flexibility to fly with any receptor (theyre shift selectable, the optic that is).

Thanks for the reply. Does the transmitter you're talking have the knob that you use for adjusting flaps?

i have had a few 4 channel and 6 channel tower radios. They are esentually futaba radios. Curious how when you send them in for repair, they go to the same address as the futabas? lol. Yes, I consider them very good qaulity.
