Default CONNECTING THE RADIO TO A PC. ANYONE HELP PLEASE!!

Hello everyone at RCU. Am Gautam from India.

Actually, i am looking all around the internet for a USB cable, which will allow me to connect a futaba 7channel (7CHF), or 9channel (9CHFS) to the computer so that i can use the radio as a joystick with many flight simulators.

I did some google search of it and came across many small retialers selling unbranded (probably chinese make) cables.

So can anyone have any authentic site or place from where i can buy this USB cable?? I need the highest quality and probably the best branded one!

It would be really helpfull if someone can provide me with a list.

Thanks,
Gautam.

I don't know of any 'major brand' interfaces that don't require you to buy the software to get it.

This guy in the UK makes an interface to let you use your transmitter with FMS (free download).

My brother bought a clonepac from him to expand the memory of his Futaba transmitter and it works fine.

There are more hardware and software links here.

Hi,

1) Buy the excellent USB-interface from Hitec (really plug and play, no install-procedure at all). See here : http://www.hitecrcd.com/Radios/SIC/SIC.htm
2) Buy the Futaba to PC-lead (square to male jack 1/8" (3.5mm) mono like here :
http://www.3dhobbyshop.com/detail.aspx?ID=447
or same here : http://www.rcmarket.org/product.php?...0&cat=5&page=1
3) Plug your adaptor lead into the female jack of the Hitec-USB-interface and...
play any game on your PC that requires a joystick with your transmitter 7C or 9c.

I personally tested this interface with a lot of transmitters, including the 9c.

Hi again,

Some transmitters I tested or was reported on to work with this interface :
Futaba : Skysport/4Y- 6EX-9C/FF9 - Robbe FC16-FC18 (capacitor to be inserted in serie)-FX18
Hitec : Laser 4 & 6
JR : X2610/6120 - X347
Graupner : MC10-Mc16/20-Mc20-MX12-X347
Multiplex : old Royal MC

No reason why other transmitters would not work with this excellent-hassle-free and cheap interface.
