Default TX Swap

Hello everyone, Im a newb with 49 flights on my R50 v2. I bought this bird RTF with everything including a JR 6102 Pcm. I ordered a scale kit from Century and Im gonna need more channels for retracts and lights. The Jr 8103 heli should give me what im looking for (I got a good deal on it anyway). Is PCM/FM interchangable via crystals? How much of a pain is it to switch over? In general how do the TX and RX communicate?Any advise in this area would be greatly appreciated, As you can see Im a noob.[sm=red_smile.gif]

Thanks, Pete

Default RE: TX Swap

What exactly are you asking? PCM is FM they both use the same crystal.

Modern radios transmit on both PPM and PCM. PCM is proprietary so you would need a JR pcm reciever on the same channel that your transmitter is on.
