Default Transmitter Battery Question

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows if a Hitec transmitter battery can plug into a Futaba box and vice versa? Do the plugs match?

Thanks

Default RE: Transmitter Battery Question

No they are not interchangable. Most Hitec Tx's use a proprietary plug that is actually the same as some used on some cell phones packs. Some lower cost Futabas Tx's are hardwired.

My radios are older and perhaps connectors have changed recently, but these male Hitec ends do fit into the Futaba female connectors, but not vice-versa.
