Yes, it is the port for the trainer cord. I need a plug so i can wire it into my PC interface for simulator programs. I use to use JR! and have just changed to Futaba.

A real PITA for soldering. I really advice you therefor to try to buy a ready-made cable, which I didn't.
I bought from the first address given. Overseas to Belgium was no problem.
