Default Futaba 9CHP Super with GWS SS = no throttle

I just got a Futaba 9C Super that I will eventually use with my helis. I first want to set it up for use with my GWS Slow Stick. Rudder and elevator work fine, but I can't get the throttle on channel 3 working. It does nothing. If I plug the elevator servo, for example, into channel 3 the throttle stick controls the elevator fine. I am using a GWS R-4P II receiver 4ch Pico Type FM narrow band. The ESC is GWS ICS50 and is plugged into channel 3 on the receiver. I fly this plane all the time successfully with a different, lesser radio, so I'm certain the receiver is fine. The 9C is in acro mode and PPM modulation.

I appreciate any help.

Default RE: Futaba 9CHP Super with GWS SS = no throttle

Futaba requires an REVersed throttle channel for an ESC to work.

Thanks for the quick reply. That fixed me up.
