Default Twin engine throtle control

I've just built an F-82 Twin Mustang and am trying to program my Futaba 8UAP Super for throtle. I have successfully programmed a slave on channel 7. My question is: How can I turn off the channel 7 knob so that it would not affect my settings? I have switched on the trim function as per the manual so trim on master will affect slave but no effect. Can anybody help. I plan to test fly this plane this weekend. Thanks a lot.

Take a look at this page on the Futaba site it answers all your questions.

Michael

I've successfully followed the instructions provided in the Futaba site. They have one regarding twin throttle control. There is a problem though. The ATV's on channel 3, 7 and 8 do not work anymore. Therefore I cannot set the endpoints for the individual channels, especially when I have to balance the two engines.

Thanks.

I'll look into this myself. I am positve the ATV function should still work. I'll mock something up and try it.

The ATV's should work fine, not sure what other problem you might be encountering. Of course you have to adjust the ATV of the actual channel the servo is plugged into, not channel 3. Please email our support team with details of what you've set up and what exactly is occurring and we'll be happy to help you.
