how many channels do i really need for a raptor 50
i need a radio for my heli raptor 50. im not sure if i want a 7 channel or 9 channel radio. do i really need a 9 channel or is this overkill. why would i need 9 channels over seven

Unless you put it in a scale machine 7 is probably the most practical channels you will need for a Raptor.
Most people buy the upper end radios like the 9c over the 7c for example for flexablity like more model memory, more detailed mixing, a bigger display, assignable switches, swappable freqency modules etc.
