Default hitec eclipse 7

Need help programing my eclipse 7 radio trans to lower and raise landing gear. How do you turn the landing gear function on (ch5) on the receiver...Please help if you can...Thanks R Sparks...

G'day Mate,
Have you read the instruction book, that will be better than anything else, to learn from.
All you need to do is plug in a servo & play with it, while you read.
You will learn more from experimenting than by reading posts that may or may not help!

Went thru the book a couple of times, find nothing about turning landing gear on! Played with it for hours....

G'day Mate,
The gear switch in mode 2 is on the far right at the back.
Mode 1 it is on the right hand side of the LCD screen.
It's all on page 7 or 18 of the manual. Switch assignments.

And it is the channel 5 at the transmiter and at the receiver.
It is an On/OFF channel
Just plug the retract servo to receiver socket 5.

I found the problem, one of my flap servos was bad and it was shorting out the other servo made it look like nothing would work. Problem is fixed, tomorrow I will get another servo and off into the wild blue yonder I shall go...............Thanks for your help! R Sparks

You know I'm retired from the US Army and I have been all over the world but I never made it to Australia....That is one place I always wanted to visit. You guys have really cool motor sports and the I liked the movie, "Wolf Creek". Thanks again for the help!
