Default DAD intercepter 2000info? crystal?

Hi, I'm new here. 'First post.

Looking for help of where to find ch38 crystal for a DAD interceptor 2000 rec'r I bought on Ebay. It's futaba setup.
Can I use any Futaba crystal, or do I need DAD's or OEM?

Thanks for help.

I have also purchased a DAD reciver from Ebay.I was told that you can get compatiable crystals from FMA Direct. I believe they took over the DAD operation.I sent mine to Pete Waters at KMI he put a crystal in and tuned it, it's works perfectly. It is a dual conversion receiver and the crystal is 10.8 below the operating freq.Mine was on 53.mhz but 72mhz is probably set up the same.

Hey Albert,
Thanks for the reply.

I'll try FMA for the crystal. BTW, I'm new and just noticed the crystal exchange forum (or something like that)... Is this a good source? .. good working stuff? anyone?

Default Dad Crystal

Look up FMA on the net. Their site has a FAQ section, where the substitution of DAD and FMA crystals are discussed.
