Default Spektrum receiver voltage

Hi,
I have just purchased a new Spektrum DS7 outfit with the AR7000 DSM2 7 channel receiver but cannot find any specs on the receiver voltage and as I am wanting to use my existing 6 volt pack I don`t want to connect it until I know what it will take.
From the Horizon website I found the 6000 receiver spec says it will accommadate voltage from around 3.6 to 9.4 volts (approx) so does the 7000 use the same?

Any help would be much appreciated. []

Default RE: Spektrum receiver voltage

G'day Mate,
The AR7000, will handle the higher voltage, only your servos are the limiting factor.
Go for 6 volts no problem.

Many thanks for that quick reply matey but since I posted I have found the info at the site http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=583877 and a lot of other useful stuff on this system.
Panic over and thanks again, bye the way the receiver will handle 3.2 to 9.6 volts according to the above website forum.
