Default Hitec HFS-05MS problem

I don't know if this is right place for this.
Im using HFS-05MS receiver with Optic 6 and using Futaba crystals.
Problem is that when i put servo into receiver and then the reveiver on servo only flickrs, but when radio on it doesn't do anything.
Radio and receiver is 40MHz if it matters cos i live in Finland.

Thax for all help.

Sounds as though you are using a dual conversion crystal in a single conversion Rx. If thats the case it won,t work.

That's not the problem crystal is single conversion. Could the problem be that im using Futaba crystals.

EDIT: Do i need to buy different module to change the frequency or can i change the crystall inside the module?

Finder,
The module is tuned for the crystal that it came with. Is your receiver a negative shift unit for Futaba/Hitec?

Finder,
I looked up the receiver on the Tower website. It is a auto shift receiver, but it must have a Hitec crystal. Here is what it states in the tech notes.

"REQUIRES: Receiver Crystal (MUST use HRCL23** on the Same Frequency as the
Transmitter Crystal. Other brands of crystals will NOT work.)"

Finder,
Just for the receiver, since your transmitter already has the correct type installed in the module.

Finder,
A spectra module is the way to go, you have many different receivers on different channels. It saves me the cost of replacing crystals.
