Default Are Cirrus and Futaba the same?

I just swapped crystals in my Futaba Skysport 6A and my Cirrus Deluxe RC7F radios and they both worked! Is there something going to haunt me for doing this? The Cirrus is newer and I would like to put the most often used crystal in it if its OK. any advice?

The main advice you will get is not to do it - you just voided your AMA coverage. It is illegal to change crystals in your transmitters, but it is legal to change them in the receiver.

From an electronics standpoint, I see no advantage to using the older crystal in the newer radio.
