Default How to change transmitter frequence?

I have a Futaba 7CAP that I would like to operate on another frequency. How do I get this done? Just install a different transmitter crystal?
Thanks,

In the US, you have to send it to a licensed repair center to the have the crystal changed, and the transmitter retuned. Unless it has a frequency module in the back, then you just swap the module.

As TLH101 says, it has to be sent in to an authorized service facility. In the US it's illegal for the end user to change the frequency of the transmitter.

You can send it back to the Futaba Service Center, [link]http://www.futaba-rc.com/service.html[/link]

or to Radio South, [link]http://www.radiosouthrc.com/[/link]

The 7c is not module based so yes you need to send it in.

Just an FYI, if you do it yourself and cause a problem its a 10 grand per occurence fine from the FCC.
