Got low profile retract servo by Expert for $25. It has all hardware from JR , all dimensions and specs of JR and made in Japan !
Is it really JR with different name ?

Yes, Horizon bought the rights to Expert several years ago. Expert is "usually" made by JR. Some stuff is made by other folks for Horizon. I have had good luck with Expert.

Default EXPERT

Indy RC which was bought by Horizon had the title to EXPERT so it then went to Horizon. Remember the World Engines Expert?

Last year at some shows I saw EXPERT radios which were identical to the Quatro on sale for about $120, they were made in Malyasia.

The last Expert transmitter I have seen came out in 2001. The "Expert 4" Nothing about it was JR, but it worked with JR, and it came with a JR made R600 receiver and JR made 507 servos, both with different model numbers than the JR counterpart. The transmitter was real cheaply made and did not last very long. The Quattro is a much higher quality radio than the Expert 4 was.

I have never seen an Expert Radio that is the same as a JR Quattro. Probably only sold new overseas.
