If anyone has purchased the Futaba/Hitec transmitter module, and either the 8 channel or 10 channel receiver module, and has them already (from the Toledo show or elsewhere), I would be willing to purchase them from you for a $100 premium over what you paid. If interested, send me a PM.

This has been answered several times - there will be no phone contact. Only email.
I would also like a phone contact, but I prefer $50 lower price than outsourced phone support...

The 12/14MZ is based on the universal module that will be offered, according to what has been posted they wont be available for a couple more weeks. As for availability, Jim posted that they were flooded with more orders than they could physically ship, so they are limiting available quantities until they get caught up. They are not out of stock, they are just limiting orders for the time being. All i can say is keep trying, he hasnt said when they will open it back up but my guess would be it wont be long.

Has anyone that has ordered one off the website got theirs yet? I ordered mine on Sunday, and they took the money out of my account today so I'm hoping that means it shipped?

Didn't you pay when you ordered? The fact that it appeared today may be due to paypal. I don't think it has anything to do with shipping. No idea how many they had shipped.
Priority mail is 3 days, so if shipped today I should get mine on Friday. Hope all Friday orders are shipped...

I am interested in the 14MZ unit, the ad say's that a cable is needed, but there are none in the shopping list anyone know how this is going to connect? Does this mean you wont be able to use the trainer function?

Can't say a 100% on the 14MZ, but Jim said for the Stylus, the cable plugs into the pins for the original module and the XPS module is held in to the TX with velcro. Cable is completely hidden. I would guess the MZ is similar. I don't know if the cable is is incuded with module or cost extra. It does state that you need to order the cable seperately.

The 14MZ probably will initially have an external cable to the trainer port, Jim had said they are working on a 12/14MZ specific version that will not require the trainer port interface, but not sure what the eta is on that one.

Its never good news when someone loses a plane, but I wouldnt rush to judgment on that one too quickly. He says a couple of things that are opposite what most people who have used 2.4 systems have said. And SS systems wont "glitch", they either have a good signal or they dont, at which point you get lockout. Not saying it isnt possible, but it sounds like there is a lot going on there that may or may not be Tx related.

Maybe... but he did say that the plane flew fine the week before on his regular system....Its hard to say though..there are only a few who have flown the XPS..or at least only a few that have posted their results online...I have to think hard about putting it in my Yak though..at least until we get some flight reports

Heads up to anyone that purchased a JR module at Toledo, there could be an issue with certain model JR Txs. Check out the info on the website. If you can pass a range test yours shouldnt be affected. Jim posted this on RCG, thought I would pass it along to everyone here.

Jon, if you or George get your order please report here. I can't imagine why they shipped monday we have not seen a single product. Someone must have chosen over night? I ordered from DA on tuesday evening and got my delivery thursday morning. Not surprizing, DA is beyond any hobby vendor in products and services.
XPS lets go!!!!

Typically when an order isn't shipped out it means: no product to ship (waiting for it from the supplers, could be late) or not enough staff to keep up with the orders or a combination of the two.

The good news is that we know they are being made and will eventually get to all those wanting them. The bad news is you might have to wait a bit.

It depends, is it Moon days? -> 1 Moon day = 28 Earth days
Mars days? (0.96 Earth days)
Sun days? (no idea)

Anyway, I hope we get it soon.
