Default crossed wire's on hitec receiver

i changed the pin's on an airtronics servo lead to use with a hitec 555 receiver. had a brain cramp and crossed my wires,now i have a burnt servo and no channel 4 on the receiver anymore. can the receiver be repaired, Thank's FOD MAN

Only way to find out is send it in to HiTec and tell them the truth

You probably fried something in the decoder chip.. The whole chip would have to be replaced, I doubt that'd be cheaper than buying a new receiver.. P.S. Don't feel too bad I've done this myself, I tossed the receiver then again it was a cheap old AM reciever.

I can still use it in a h.o.b bonanza and a .10 shrike that i have as they only need the first 3 channels . so maybe not all is lost. thanks fod man

Default IF YOU DO THAT??

The least you could do is re-name your plane to DAMAGED GOOD'S and warn everyone at the field about a potential unguided missile.

Yeah,you do make a good point.will keep it for setting up control rods and servos when i build.
