Default Do I need A Bigger Battery Pack?

How long will each flight be, and how many flights per trip to the field? And... How hard are you going to push the plane's high sped aerobatic capabilities?

6 standard servos, average person's boring holes in the sky, .60 powered plane, 12 oz tank... you can get 3 flights from a standard pack easilly.

If you push the high speed aerobatics, you'll add servo load, and reduce available flight time per charge. If you tend to do lazy laps around the traffic pattern, lots of touch-n-goes and rarely run the engine more than 1/2 throttle, you could get 2 hours of flight time from the 600 mah pack.

The higher capacity pack certainly won't hurt... But, you may not really need it.

I've got a Kadet Sr, with a .61 in it and 9 standard servos... I get three 12 oz (appx 20 min per flight at mostly 1/3 throttle ) flights from it just fine using a standard 600 mah pack.
