Default PCM RX for Futaba 6EXAP

I recently purchased a new Futaba 6EXAP system; PPM/PCM. It came with a R136F receiver which is FM.

I am wanting to get some additional receivers for other planes, but I want PCM not FM.

The manual indicates this system could come with either a R127DF or an R136F. Tower Hobbies has discontinued the R127DF

What other receivers would work with this transmitter? I cannot find an indication in the manual or on the box if this is 1024 or 512; I think I read that 1024 RX will not work with 512 Tx.

Thanks and regards

Will work with any current Futaba PCM1024 receiver.
The number of channels on the receiver can be more than on the transmitter - the extra channels above ch6 will just be unused.
You can only use a Futaba receiver for PCM - brands are not interchangeable.

The 127DF is an FM receiver, has been replaced with the 168DF.

For smaller park flyer and electrics the 146iP is an excellent reciever.
