Default JR 10X trim/ DR problem

Hi all.
I have a problem that I cant understand. When setting up an airplane, I discover that elevator center position moves when hitting the third position on the switch (Hi rate). The amount is like two clicks "down" elevator. No mixes what so ever. No difference when the original Elevator switch or Flightmode switch is used. What could this be?

HI, I would clear the whole program and start over again, then see if it happens again.

In Code 17 make sure you have flight mode trim disabled. If yo have it enabled each flight mode must be trimmed separately.

Code 17 checked, and it's disabled. I got this TX second hand yesterday, and during programming, I did discover that there were some inputs from another plane. ("Model #1" had no name, so I figured there were no data inputs - wrong) I had then already started programming my Extra, so I only erased the inputs that I found... typically not good enough :-) When simulating set-up on a fresh non-used model, the issue isn't there. So. Rcpete; yes I'm just gonna have to clear the whole program. It's raaaainingtoday, so hech, what else should I be doing?

HMMM. After some re-programming I discovered that the bug happens when I dial in the different rates for elevator as follows: FM 0=60%, FM 1=80%, FM 2=100%. Adding 30% Expo to all of them, and woala - bug is there. BUT: If I then hit one click of "Down ELE trim", the bug disappears. I recon this si an issue due to "exact neutral position" on the elevator stick...?

If the program was just erased, and code 17 flight mode trim is disabled, I would send it back to JR. Sounds like it needs a tune up.

(You are not the first to run into this, but for JR it is a quick fix . . . )

I haven't got the time to wait for it. Now, for the first time in my "career", I'm considering a new Futaba (NOT because of this little bug). I want an up to date combo radio, and if the JR 12X does not have the "Cyclic stick virtual ring" in it's program, then I will go for a Futaba 12. Until then, I'll be flying my planes and choppers using both my 10X'es. :-)

I ran into the same problem with my 10x. Had to send it back to get "recalibrated" Haven't had a problem since. Turnaround at Horizon was really fast.
