Default advantage to the 7C vs T6EX 2.4 futaba?

right now i have the T6EX 2.4 and flew with it last sunday. the 6 works flawlessly.
i'd like to add a second system to my arsenal, but wonder if there is any advantage to getting the 7C 2.4Ghz that's coming out this fall.

anyone care to give some insight?

thx
-mike

The 7C has more software options and or course another channel. I'd really suggest reading the manual on line and comparing the features.

Mike,
Another big difference is that the 7C has a real data screen, The 6 channel Futabas show so little info that it is harder to set them up, the 7C has much more info on the screen like graphic display of the trim position, important with digital trims

thx Bruce and Pilot.......you made my decision a lot easier.
read the 7C manual (although it's not the 2.4) for the current model.......there is quite a bit more that can be done with the 7C.

thx

The 6EX is basically the same in 72 MHz and 2.4GHz versions probably due to trying to get something on the market to compete. Hopefully Futaba will have a few upgrades in the 7C when it comes out but I haven't seen anything yet on this. Price is so close to the 6EX I don't see why anyone would ever buy the 6EX over the 7C again. Note: Not a complaint.

Does anyone know if any of the Futaba FASST systems has a feature similar to the “Model Match” of the SpeKtrum system??

The 6EX does not. I have not heard of plans for it to be in the upcoming sets either.

Bruce:

Thanks. I have all Futaba equipment and would like to keep it that way, but that Model Match feature is a winner and will probably buy a 2.4 system that has this feature.
