Default MPI power switch with LED's..jumper question

Question: I have lost the manual for my 4.8 volt/6 volt MPI LED power switch, and I want to know about the jumper wire on the rear of the switch. Do you cut the jumper for a six volt application? or leave it intact?
Thanks.

I have 3 of these, love 'em. Cut the jumper for 6v operation. Use a little electrical tape on the cut ends, and you can re-splice it down the road if you want to go back to 4.8v.

Thanks very much...I kinda thought that's what I remembered, but my memory is so bad sometimes. I appreciate the update to my mental notes. Unfortunately, me making mental notes is like writing with disappearing ink!
Now where did I put my wire snippers?
Have a great day.
