Not sure if this is the right forum...

Just bot my sullivan smoke pump and had it up 3 times. Worked great the first 2 times and the thrid time the pump sounds like it running but nothing is happeneing. It make s a low pitched sound but nothing is pumping.

Battery is good, connections all good, smoke oil in the tank...

Default RE: Sullivan Smoke Pump Not Pumping

I had the same problem. It worked once, then the speed control went out. So I put on a GWS esc and it worked twice, then it stopped pumping but the motor was running. SO I took the pump end apart to find out the motor shaft was free spinning inside the gear that make the pump work.

It really is a horrible design of a pump. The gear is just a press fit on the motor[:'(], it should be keyed.

I should have sent the unit back, but I took it apart instead. I just had to do it[8D]

You should send it back for a new one.
