Default Futaba 6exap just fried

hi i was getting ready to use my transmitter on realflight and when i turned it on it did not come on so i turned it off and as soon as i turned it off i smealt what seemed to be burning rubber and now my transmitter turns on but will not control my plane, the crystal was out what happened and what should i do? i have no clue what happened and what i should do.

ok, status update theplane wouldnt respond because the transmitter was on pcm and second the plane will not range check past about 25 feet. i guess my flyin season is over for a while.

I'd either send it to the Futaba service center http://www.futaba-rc.com/service.html or to Radio South.

I agree with Carrell. Send the transmitter in for service. Depending on the problem the turn around time might not be that long but considering the situation you don't have much to lose.
