Default Hitec or FMA receiver for Futaba 9C?

I need an 8-channel receiver (or two) for my Futaba 9CAP. I have looked at the 8-Channel receivers from both Hitec and FMA Direct, but have not had experience with either. Could anyone tell me of their experiences with either brand receiver? I will be using the receivers in .60 size and Giant scale Gas powered aircraft.

I use Hitec receivers with my 9C and with the 8U also. Have 7 or 8 of the receivers and have not had any problems. Good value and reliable receiver, Used with both glow and gas ignition.
Have had one or two bounced around pretty good in crashes but they still "keep on ticken"

What? me crash!!! No, No, it was gravity's fault....right!!
The ground just leaped right up grabbed the plane out of the air, nuttin I could do......Duh

I have used two FMA rx's almost from the time Fred Marks started selling them and have a Quantum and an Extreme 5 in service now; that makes 4 of the FMA rx's being used with Airtronics Infinity 660 and Stylus. Absolutely NO problems !

I just bought a Hitec Slim Supreme for my Magic. I also have a 9C and, like everyone else here, it works fine.

Seems to me that tower had a sale on Futaba PCM receivers. They are $99. I would go that way. You get the same product and Futaba reliability you are used to and still PCM. You won't save much going to another brand. Heres a link.

I have six of the FMA's, excellent receivers. While I have never made any exact measurements as to sensitivity etc., my experience says the FMA's will be as good or better than any of the others. If you want small AND GOOD try out the FMA M5, a superior design in all respects.

Thanks for the replies! It looks like you can't go wrong with either brand. I have used Hitec servos with good success, and I hear good things about FMA also.
The Futaba 8-channel at Tower is a little higher, but I like the thought of keeping PCM capability. I am leaning toward the Futaba, because I need a couple of receivers for 1/4 and 1/3 scale, and peace of mind is more important here than a few dollars saved on an otherwise expensive aircraft
