i have been using a futaba 149DP with 6v supply forever...suddenly one reciever has gone crazy. It jitters with a 6v supply. In case of a 4.8v it behaves. What could have happened out of the blue?

well...ofcourse the rx doesnt [&:] ..but the servos that are connected to it do....move at will..and when moved with sticks..start jittering.

sometimes it is normal for the servos to jitter a bit with a very fresh....just off the charger battery.....


does it go away after a few minutes or does it stay....?

doesnt go...it stays. Srvos are JR 3421 digitals and some more...besides servos jittering, the ones that dont jitter move jerkily.

Any strange behavior on a receiver should be resolved. I would pack it up and send it to Futaba for a checkout. If you have had a hard landing or two on it, or there is a lot of viberation, it may have lost one of it's ceramic filters. The 149DP is worth the cost of having it repaired by Futaba.

hmm..it was in my 33% extra 300 powered with a da100. I guess the vibrations got to it then? Will send it across.........

Yep, get it looked at, cheaper then replacing a plane.

You may want to checkif the servos can handle the 6V... I understand some JR have issues...
