9CAP Throttle stick inputs reversed??
I recently (1 week ago) purchased a new 9CAP radio (serial #11223470). While setting it up for my planes I noticed something very strange about the throttle, throttle stick, trim adjustments, throttle cut and idle down functions.
I was programming the throttle servo end points and then went to set the idle down and throttle cut functions and noticed that nothing happened when activating these functions. I then tried to use the trim adjustment to move the throttle and noticed that the throttle servo did not move regardless of how far the trims were moved.
I went to the servo monitor screen and noticed that if I moved the stick up the screen showed down movement, if I moved the stick down the screen showed up movement. So I went to the reverse function and reversed the servo, which then made the screen movements correct (up stick showed up movement, down stick showed down movement). After doing this I still had no control over the idle down, trim movements or the throttle cut.
While playing around with it I noticed that if I had the throttle stick wide open, all of the functions worked but opposite of the stick. Down trim moves the servo up, Up trim moves the servo down and also the throttle cut and idle down functions work, just backwards.
It would appear that the inputs from the throttle stick are reversed. I am assuming that the idle down and the throttle cut are only supposed to operate when the throttle stick is at the idle position, which in my case is in the wide open throttle position (regardless of the reversing setting). The trim functions are always opposite of what the throttle stick is doing, unlike all of the other stick functions, i.e. the down elevator trim moves the surface in the up directions just the same as giving it down elevator stick movement.
It appears to me that the throttle stick is simply setup backwards (in the radio) because regardless of which direction I have the servo reverse function set, the only time my throttle trims, idle down and throttle cut functions work are if the throttle is in the wide open position.
Is there something goofy in my settings somewhere, is this a radio problem and if so how would I go about getting it fixed?
Help?????????????????

Here is a quote from the FAQ page on Futaba's website
My throttle trim, throttle hold, or throttle curve functions seem to be working backward. For example, my trim only affects the high end not the low end. What's wrong?
Throttle reverse is a specialized function for very unique, special setups. It sounds like it is accidentally active in your radio. Turn the transmitter off and while holding down the 2 left most keys, turn the TX on. The STICK MODE screen should come up. Cursor up to the next screen, which says throttle rev. If it is norm make it REV, if it is REV make it norm. Turn the TX off and back on. Be prepared to reverse the direction of your throttle servo in the regular servo reverse screen and things should now operate normally.

9CA Throttle stick problem
That was problem. Thank you to every knowledgable person out there and the owner of this great site!!!!!!!!!! I have gained such valuable information and HELP from members of this site.
Again Thank you for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am once again unbelievably happy with my new radio!!!
BTW was this in the owners manual anywhere? I read about as much of it as a person can possibly take of a users manual and found nothing of this special setup page.
Are there other special set up pages? There was another setting in there for stick mode options were 1,2,3 and 4. Mine is currently set on 2. Is this right?
