Default Twin Engine / DX7 Reciever Throttle Set up / NO Y HARNESS

Hi.

I'm attempting to set up my DX7 to work with a Twin Engine plane so that I don't have to use a Y-harness for the throttle control. I'd like to be able to independently control one engine with the throttle slot on the receiver and control the other engine with the AUX 1 or AUX 2 slot.

This way, I think I should be able to independently tweak the RPMs of each engine.

I played around with the idea last night, but could not get the the throttle on the TX to operate both engines. Neither the AUX1 or 2 would move. I tried several different mixes, but couldn't get it to work.

Any ideas on how to get AUX1 or AUX2 (or perhaps even the Gear) to operate as Throttle?

Thanks.

Maybe I am reading too much into your question but to independently control two throttles with a mix is a bit of a contradiction!

I am guessing that you want to mix throttle with another channels and have them both move together with the throttle stick. You want to use two leads and two servos and hence two channels. You also want to be able to adjust each servo independently to set high and low rpms???

Just mix Channel-1 with Channel 7, 100% each way in the mix programming as a start point. Leave switch slection set to "ON"

That should get you started.

Regards,

Eric.
