HS 5645 Problems
I am installing a HS 5645 in a GP U can do 3d as the rudder servo.
It will "catch" - stop moving at a large deflection from neutral for 1-2 sec and then return to normal function. It is irregular and will sometimes not happen for 30-40 sec, then it will repeat.
I am going to try switching servos and eventually receivers. The radio is a Futaba 9Z - it has always been very reliable.
This is my 1st experience with hitec digitals - Has anyone else had this problem?

HS 5645 Problems
How old is the servo? Does it have a date code? Early release's were subject to user specific problems that were later solved with software upgrades that allowed the servo to operate within a wider range of pulse widths. The digitals are more susceptible to other extraneous problems that may or may not exist in your setup.
I'd suggest you send all your Hitec digitals to Hitec for the latest free software upgrade or have someone update the software with Hitec's hand-held programmer with the latest revision's. Maybe your local hobby shop can do this for you.
