G'day Mate,
There is a huge difference between mode 1 & mode 2, mode 1 has the ailerons & throttle on the right stick, elevators & rudder on the left stick.
Mode 2, has the ailerons & elevators on the right stick, rudder & throttle on the left stick.
You won't see any differences in a picture, but you will notice a difference when you go to fly with it.
YOU have to decide which mode you want to fly with.

The mode 1 & 2 transmitters are identical as far as functions and features. The difference is in which stick controls which major control.
There are four stick modes. Here is a picture that shows them.

Forgot to specify Mode 2 when I got my 6EX 2.4 FASST from a Hong Kong dealer. Got it in Mode 1 instead. Conversion to Mode 2 was relatively painless, however. Just a matter of selecting it on the menu and swapping the ratchet over to the other side.
