Default Mode 1 & Mode 2? 2.4 fasst

What is the difference? I read them side by side and see no difference.....anyone know?

G'day Mate,
There is a huge difference between mode 1 & mode 2, mode 1 has the ailerons & throttle on the right stick, elevators & rudder on the left stick.
Mode 2, has the ailerons & elevators on the right stick, rudder & throttle on the left stick.
You won't see any differences in a picture, but you will notice a difference when you go to fly with it.
YOU have to decide which mode you want to fly with.

Edited after reading the question again:

The mode 1 & 2 transmitters are identical as far as functions and features. The difference is in which stick controls which major control.

There are four stick modes. Here is a picture that shows them.

Forgot to specify Mode 2 when I got my 6EX 2.4 FASST from a Hong Kong dealer. Got it in Mode 1 instead. Conversion to Mode 2 was relatively painless, however. Just a matter of selecting it on the menu and swapping the ratchet over to the other side.

Not that easy on most radios though. Best to get it right the first time or make sure it will change easily.
