Default Rubber transmitter stick ends

I saw a radio in the newest RC Heli magazine that had rubber rings around the end of its sticks.

I've searched long and hard online for them but have come up with nothing.

Does anyone know where these can be found? I would definitely prefer soft rubber to the sharp points of my current radio sticks.

I have used rubber bushings used to protect wires passing through metal cabinets. Radio Shack used to sell an assortment of them.

Campgem has the right idea. If the maneuver is messed up, it can be erased.

I appreciate the jury-rigged ideas you guys have come up with but the pieces on the radio I saw look like they were designed for the purpose.

I'm pretty sure it was a JR 9303, for what it's worth.

Ahh, you want the expensive fix.

I read your post and happened to look down on my desk at the bag of erasers. Light bulb went off. I tried a couple on the transmitter and they fit very nicely. I'm going to try them the next trip to the field. I have my stick extedned to the limit and these extend them another 1/2 inch. I like the feel of them also. Thanks for the idea.

Well until I can find the real thing your eraser idea might just do the trick.
I wouldn't leave them as-is though, I would shape them to my liking.
