Default Inverted flight with a mix ?

Francis,
Absoultely. On a single switch you would need to:
1) do TWO elevator-to-elevator mixes, -100%. this would make the elevator work backwards.
2) do TWO rudder to rudder mixes, -0100%, this would make the rudder work backwards.
3) do an OFFSET elevator mix, the percent you'll need to figure out, to keep the model from diving inverted.

Default Inverted flight with a mix ?

what is the lowest end radio that would work on?
that sounds like it would be a easy way to launch my
Diamond dust myself (With a grip mounted on bottem of wing)
That way i could flip a switch launch it inverted - get it to altitude
roll in rightside up - flip a switch and be back to normal.
would something like that work on a 6xas? i only need elevons
to be reversed by a switch.?

Thanks

Bob,
The 6X couldn't support that, no....unless you worked through the heli programming and used the inverted programming it already has. that would take some creative fiddling.

the 8U and 9C nad 9Z can all support this level of mixing.

Default Inverted flight with a mix ?

Not quite the same thing but for years I had a push button added to my transmitter to help in inverted flight. When pushed it would give a down trim increment (adjustable pot with a screwdriver into a hole so it wasn't easily knocked off the setting).

When I wanted to fly around inverted I would do a 180 deg roll, push the button at 90 deg and when inverted the airplane would be in perfect trim. It worked fine as a training tool so that you could concrentrate on getting familiar with the orientation of using the elevator OK. With multiple airplanes on the transmitter it became less useful and I also became accustomed to just holding in the necessary down elevator myself.

With a modern computer radio it could have individual settings for each airplane. It was useful for learning.

Default flying upside-down in AUSTRALIA?

Since all people in AUSTRALIA are upside-down in relation to the people in North-AMERICA does that mean that everyone in Australia have to reverse their TX settings?

Francis, do not complicate things too much. If you want to fly inverted, the sticks should also work in reverse ( imagine when you backup a car, would you want to reverse the steering and turn the seat around? ), HOWEVER you could mix a trim for the elevator. You hit the switch and you don't have to hold the down elev. continuously when flying inverted.

Cheers

Default simple is the most suitable.

Francis;
A RC airplane is the performance that as for the normality flight and inverted flight, it always flies. When your flight technology improves, complicated mixing will really obstruct the improvement of, you.
Possibly, the operation error of the Mix. switch will cause a fall.
I want to hope to attain the inverted flight with the operation training of, you.

Default Inverted flight with a mix ?

AnnMarie,

I am using ailevators on my UCANDO and already am using two mixes to switch in down trim when inverted (one for ch.2 and one for ch. 8). I would like to reverse the elevators on the same switch, but that takes two more mixes (-100,-100) for each elevator channel. Since the UCD asolutely needs PCM6&7 for KE mixing I am out of mixes. Am I missing something? I tried using 'link' but to no avail.

I really like my 9C !!

BLT, you should only need one mix for your trim. It should not require two, as ailevator already has link ON built into it. Likewise, it will take just one mix to reverse elevator, again assuming you're actually using the ailevator programming.
