Noise Traps/Ferrite Rings Needed with 2.4 ?
Do 2.4 systems have the same issues/problems that 72 mhz systems have with possible interference from long servo leads ? In other words, are the noise traps/filters and/or ferrite rings that I had been using (with very long servo extensions) still needed ? Thanks. Bob

RE: Noise Traps/Ferrite Rings Needed with 2.4 ?
While the comments here are generally correct.
The one counter thought is that some HIGH POWER (Ignition or very high power motor) noise can sometimes get directly into the Servo leads and cause problems with the servo though it is not Rx or Rf related.
For this reason, I still reccomend good practices when putting aircraft systems together... and sometimes, chokes may play a role here (along with wire routing).
It may also be possible for the servos/leads themselves to develop problems, though again, this is not Rf, or clasic 'rf' related.
